General Worker – Warehouse

About the role

ACDC Dynamics, a manufacturer, importer and distributor of products in the electrical, electronics, pumps and tools industry, is hiring an energetic General Worker to help run its warehouse in Riverhorse, KwaZulu-Natal. The role is permanent and entry-level.

Key responsibilities

• Keep work areas clean, neat and well organized.
• Pack incoming stock, take inventory and report shortages.
• Keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Pick orders as requested by management and move completed orders to the delivery area.
• Ensure correct information is attached to orders.
• Assist with wrapping and securing goods with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Comply with OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Help maintain the security of the store.

Required profile

• Matric, GED or suitable equivalent.
• 1+ years of work experience in a similar role.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work harmoniously with a diverse group of people.
• Physically agile and dexterous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the tools required for the position.
• Good organizational skills.
