General Worker Artisan Assistant

About the role
Premier is looking for a motivated General Worker Artisan Assistant to support the effective operation of equipment and plant on site. You will work in a high‑performance environment, contributing to plant reliability and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain overall effectiveness of equipment and plant facilities.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues.
- Deliver on‑the‑job training to junior staff.
- Assist with plant and system upgrades.
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a production plant.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and industry standards.
- Familiarity with OHS legislation and quality management principles.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions, solve problems and work physically on site.
