About the role
The Hantam Municipality is seeking two General Workers to support the maintenance and cleanliness of municipal infrastructure in Calvinia. The role involves a variety of labour tasks across water, sewage, road, storm‑water and public‑space services.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and install municipal water supply networks.
- Maintain and install municipal sewage networks and connections.
- Perform labour tasks related to road and storm‑water infrastructure.
- Carry out street cleaning, public toilet cleaning and waste removal.
- Maintain municipal gardens, lawns, trees and irrigation systems.
Required profile
- Basic literacy.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience.

- Manage of Work.

- Task responsibility.

- Oral communication.
