About the role
VR Group is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Warehouse Worker in Milnerton. The role covers the day-to-day handling of goods and stock in the warehouse.
Key responsibilities
- Loading and unloading goods
- Receiving and moving stock
- Picking and packing orders
- Organizing the warehouse
- Capturing basic stock information
- Assisting with stock counts
- Keeping the warehouse clean and safe
Required profile
- Computer literate, able to use basic computer programs, email and data-capturing systems
- Able to lift a 25kg box and physically fit for warehouse work
- Reliable, punctual and able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Safety-conscious, respectful and willing to work as part of a team
- Reliable transport is required
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage; experience with barcode scanners or warehouse systems is also an advantage
The position includes a one-month paid probationary period, during which attendance, performance, computer skills, teamwork, safety and overall suitability are assessed. Candidates apply by sending their resume/CV.
