General Assistant (Grade H) – Warehouse

About the role
Macsteel Fluid Control is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join its dynamic warehouse team and support a leading steel company.
Key responsibilities
- Pick and pack stock and material into correct locations.
- Assist the crane driver with slinging and packing material for delivery.
- Load and off‑load vehicles.
- Prepare material for delivery and ensure proper labeling.
- Participate in stock‑take activities.
- Maintain general housekeeping and comply with company policies, including PPE usage.
Required profile
- Matric certificate or at least 2 years of relevant work experience with acceptable numeracy and literacy (tested).
- Knowledge of Macsteel products and ability to learn new products.
- Willingness to multitask, work overtime, flexible shifts and night shifts when required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Prepared to undergo training.
