Game Lodge Management Couple (5‑Star Lodge)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic management couple to lead a 5‑star self‑catering game lodge in Mpumalanga. The pair will jointly oversee guest experience, staff performance, and overall lodge operations, ensuring a world‑class safari destination.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate reservations, check‑ins, check‑outs and special guest experiences such as bush delights and holiday events.
• Supervise and schedule lodge staff, manage leave applications, gate passes and visitor protocols.
• Oversee financial transactions, budgeting, stock ordering and asset management.
• Conduct daily game drives, bush walks and guide guests on wildlife trails.
• Maintain gardens, property upkeep and perform basic vehicle maintenance.

Required profile

• Hospitality Management Diploma (or equivalent) for the female partner.
• FGASA Level 2 Full Trails Guide qualification (or higher) for the male partner.
• Minimum five years of lodge management experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including extra shifts when needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Experience using the Nightsbridge booking platform and related extranets.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
