Front of House Restaurant Manager (Sandton)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Front of House Restaurant Manager to lead the busy dining area of a modern restaurant in Sandton. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, high service standards, and a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all front‑of‑house activities, including staff scheduling, waiter supervision, and guest service.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, cash‑up processes, and daily financial reconciliation.
• Control stock levels for front‑of‑house supplies and coordinate with the back‑of‑house team.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and health & safety compliance.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of management experience in a sit‑down restaurant environment.
• Strong communication and customer‑relation abilities.
• Ambitious, self‑motivated, energetic and able to work well within a team.
• References must be contactable.
