Front of House Restaurant Manager – Kyalami

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Front of House Restaurant Manager for a new, trendy restaurant in Kyalami, Johannesburg. You will lead the dining floor, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front‑of‑house activities, including staff scheduling and supervision.
• Manage stock control, opening and closing procedures, and cash‑up processes.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve guest issues promptly.
• Coordinate with kitchen and back‑of‑house teams to ensure seamless service.
• Handle restaurant administration, reporting, and financial reconciliation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of management experience in a busy restaurant setting.
• Strong communication and customer‑relation skills; well‑spoken and professional.
• Ability to work under pressure, lead a team, and motivate staff.
• Ambitious, self‑motivated, energetic, and able to thrive in a collaborative environment.
