Fresh Production Supervisor

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Fresh Production Supervisor to lead the end‑to‑end fresh food manufacturing process in Malmesbury. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, food safety and productivity while meeting operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all fresh production lines, including mince, skin‑pack, fresh‑cut MAP and value‑added products.
• Implement and continuously improve production procedures to optimise efficiency and product quality.
• Manage stock control and rotation within the production area.
• Monitor product quality, appearance, packaging and labelling against customer specifications.
• Enforce SHEQ compliance, proper use of PPE and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Identify, report and drive corrective actions for quality or maintenance non‑conformances.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• 3‑5 years operational experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Experience in food production or meat processing is beneficial.
