Freelance UK Digital Creativity Tutor

About the role

Kodland is an international digital school helping kids and teens develop creativity through coding, design and digital skills. It is looking for freelance tutors who enjoy sharing knowledge and inspiring young people to express themselves through digital media. This is a fully remote role, open to anyone available during UK teaching hours (afternoons and evenings on weekdays, mornings on weekends).

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging online classes using provided scripts and materials.
• Develop your own teaching skills with guidance from experienced Kodland mentors.
• Track student progress, celebrate achievements and guide learners through their journey.
• Share lesson feedback and contribute creative ideas to improve the learning experience.
• Take part in mock lessons, training and community events to grow your skills and connect with other tutors.

Required profile

• Fluent English (C1).
• A passion for teaching children and teenagers.
• Availability of at least 10 hours per week: weekdays 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM GMT-4 (Boston time) and weekends 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM GMT-4.
• Tech setup: stable internet (minimum 20 Mbps), webcam, headset and a quiet workspace.
• Bonus: background in design education, Tinkercad or animation tools.

Required skills

• Basic 3D principles (modeling, perspective, rendering)
• Familiarity with graphic tools such as Photoshop, Photopea, Figma and Canva
