Operations Trainer (Night Shift)

About the role

WNS Global Services is looking for an Operations Trainer for its Cape Town site, working the afternoon and night shifts (Monday to Sunday, rotational). The role delivers product and technical training to assigned operational business units, covering new starters, refresher training, assessments and record keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical new starter training and refresher, up-skilling and cross-skilling training aligned with workplace needs
• Carry out product and technical skills assessments after each training event and provide remedial support before re-assessment
• Maintain accurate records: annual training reports, delegate attendance registers and the operational skills matrix, follow the handover process and keep the Training Standard document

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 certificate (essential)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an operational environment (essential)
• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, especially MS Excel and MS Word (essential)
• Preferred: a relevant higher national certificate or diploma in training and development, and training, coaching or mentoring experience
• Must be able to travel between sites within the allocated region as required

• Excellent verbal and written English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail, exceptional administrative skills and ability to work in a team
• Preferred: basic content development skills
