Food and Beverage Manager – Boutique Hotel (Karoo)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Food and Beverage Manager to join our expanding boutique hotel in the Karoo, near Touws River. You will support the F&B operations across our restaurant, bar, and glamping facilities, driving service excellence and innovative guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant and bar service standards in a hotel environment.
• Manage stock control, basic costing processes and inventory reporting.
• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse hospitality team.
• Collaborate on new menu concepts and guest offering initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an F&B manager or similar role in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or hospitality setting.
• Diploma in Food Service Management or related field (beneficial).
• Strong understanding of current food and beverage trends for boutique properties.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Micros POS system.
