Financial Manager – Edenvale

About the role

The motor dealer in Edenvale is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee all financial functions, ensure compliance with OEM and company policies, and drive effective cash flow and asset control. The role reports to the Dealer Principal and works closely with sales, administration and the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow analyses and ensure timely reconciliations.
• Control cash movements, fund transfers and collection processes to maximise interest earnings.
• Maintain the Dealer Management System (DMS) database, manage user access and ensure data integrity.
• Oversee asset safekeeping, vehicle stock checks and fixed‑asset recording with depreciation.
• Complete statutory returns including VAT, FIC reporting and goAML updates within required timeframes.
• Develop and monitor budgets, liaise with line managers and present financial results to the Board.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ financial experience at a dealership level.
• Residence in Sandton, Kempton Park or the East Rand.
• Strong knowledge of OEM policies and South African financial regulations.
• Ability to train and motivate admin staff and coordinate with HR for payroll matters.

What we offer
