Financial Adviser – Fortress MOB

About the role

The Financial Adviser for the Fortress MOB will deliver professional financial advice, planning and product solutions to new and existing clients. You will build long‑term relationships, generate sustainable business and uphold Sanlam’s compliance and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored financial advice, conduct needs analysis and present suitable solutions while ensuring all disclosures are compliant.
• Grow the Sanlam adviser business by meeting revenue targets, activity quotas and promoting the brand.
• Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and existing client referrals.
• Maintain and service client portfolios, conduct annual reviews and respond to client events such as maturities or cancellations.
• Document activities, update client records and report on contacts, appointments and revenue against targets.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• FAIS “Fit and Proper” requirements met and regulatory examination completed; registration with FSCA for at least 24 months.
• Strong client relationship management, compliance and risk awareness.
• Effective communication, tech‑savvy and action‑oriented attitude.
