Finance Manager - Costing and Recoveries

About the role

Standard Bank Group is looking for a Finance Manager in Johannesburg to provide full functional support for its Costing and Recoveries services across the bank. The role involves developing and implementing costing and recoveries processes, models and controls within the finance area.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (BCom/BSc) in Informatics, Financial Management, Financial Modelling, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Management, Information Science, Mathematical Statistics, Cost and Management Accounting.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance, cost and management accounting, costing analysis or financial reporting.
• Proven experience with SAP ECC, BCM (Business Cost Management), cost management systems or similar enterprise finance platforms.
• Strong practical experience in cost allocation, recoveries, budgeting, forecasting and cost management.
• Demonstrated ability to use analytical and data interpretation skills to support strategic business decisions.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL (Sequel) for extracting, manipulating and analysing large volumes of financial and operational data.
• Financial analysis, management accounting, financial planning, interpreting financial statements, reconciling records and transfer pricing.
