Manager, Franchise Innovation

About the role

The Franchise Innovation team develops and deploys franchise solutions that support Mastercard's customers and strengthen the payments ecosystem across Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA). The Manager supports the development, promotion and execution of franchise-enabled solutions that help customers grow while adhering to Mastercard Standards. The role combines customer onboarding, data analysis, market intelligence, fraud reviews, ecosystem monitoring and operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage activities related to Acquirers and Payment Facilitators across the EEMEA region
• Support the onboarding and enablement of new Service Providers and other ecosystem participants
• Present Franchise programs, standards and value propositions to customers
• Support stakeholders on payments fraud management, approval rates and scheme compliance
• Conduct operational reviews of Customers, Payment Facilitators and other Service Providers
• Identify and commercialize solutions to address customer pain points and improve ecosystem performance
• Develop and deliver training materials and solution-based sessions for internal and external stakeholders
• Analyze transaction data to identify trends, opportunities, risks and areas needing attention, and design internal reports on findings and remediation
• Support consulting engagements such as trainings, performance optimization projects and FMP reviews
• Identify process improvements and opportunities to support regional growth

Required profile

• Experience working with acquirers on operations, merchant onboarding, fraud reviews and merchant compliance, or experience selling tools and solutions in this space
• Experience in the payments industry, merchant acquiring operations, product management or fraud management
• Fluent English; another language is a plus

• Strong verbal and written communication, including delivering presentations
• Ability to analyze data, build reports and coordinate multiple initiatives and stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
