Finance Manager – Corporate Accounting (South Africa)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead end‑to‑end financial stewardship within a fast‑growing technology and data ecosystem. The role combines strategic financial planning, full accounting oversight, and the drive for AI‑enabled financial transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly management accounts, multi‑currency IFRS financial statements, intercompany eliminations and comprehensive management packs.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and three‑year strategic planning, building financial models to monitor KPIs and profitability.
• Partner with leadership on technology assessments, pricing strategies and product profitability analyses.
• Oversee treasury functions, liquidity forecasting, foreign‑exchange strategies and funding requirements.
• Act as primary contact for internal and external audits, sign off draft annual financial statements and ensure compliance with local tax and VAT regulations.
• Direct, mentor and develop the finance team, handling capacity planning and performance evaluations.
• Drive ERP enhancements, standardise accounting policies and implement system automation for a single source of truth.
• Evaluate and implement AI‑driven financial tools, automated reporting frameworks and predictive analytics.
