Finance Business Partner

About the role

Help shape better business decisions through finance. We are building a forward‑looking Finance Business Partnering capability to support growth across the organisation, working closely with executives and senior leaders across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to support planning, performance tracking and decision‑making.
• Translate business drivers into clear financial insight that informs action.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and management reporting cycles.
• Provide commercial analysis to manage risk and support sustainable growth.
• Use financial models and driver‑based analysis to test scenarios and improve outcomes.

Required profile

• Fully qualified CA(SA) or CIMA (CGMA) professional.
• 2–3 years post‑qualification experience in finance, focusing on financial planning & analysis, commercial finance or business partnering.
• Proven experience delivering financial insights to senior stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
• Hands‑on experience in budgeting, forecasting, performance management and management reporting.
• Strong financial modelling capability, including driver‑based analysis, scenario modelling and strategic investment evaluation.
• Experience working across complex portfolios or multi‑divisional environments.
• Understanding of financial governance, regulatory frameworks and IFRS (advantageous).
• Familiarity with enterprise financial systems and planning tools.
• Ability to mentor or support junior team members.
• Strong communication skills with confidence to challenge and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
