Field Sales Representative (Gauteng)

About the role

A leading company in the corporate cleaning and hygiene sector is looking for a results-oriented Field Sales Representative in Gauteng. The role drives business growth in line with budgeted forecasts by sourcing new business, maintaining client relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery. It is a full-time, permanent position in Johannesburg involving client visits.

Key responsibilities

• Source new business through planning, networking, cold calling and leads, according to KPIs.
• Contact prospective clients regularly to build long-term relationships and maintain current customers, ensuring after-sales service meets expectations.
• Prepare and submit quotations based on the current pricing model, in line with specifications or authorisation by the Managing Director.
• Identify, formulate and submit viable tenders within deadlines, and make sure statutory documents for quotations and tenders are current.
• Develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations tailored to target customers' business needs.
• Give management regular updates on sales performance, targets versus actuals, pipeline status and quotation viability.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of proven sales experience in the hygiene and cleaning services sector.
• Minimum Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.

• Strong sales ability and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused, initiative and self-motivated, with attention to detail and a team-player approach.
