F&I Manager – Automotive Finance & Insurance

About the role

The dealership is seeking an experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to lead vehicle finance operations and the sale of approved insurance products. You will ensure a seamless customer experience while maximising gross profit and maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide vehicle finance solutions and sell approved insurance products to customers.
• Maximise gross profit through effective product placement and pricing.
• Maintain compliance with the Financial Service Board (FSB) and all relevant legislation.
• Stay current with vehicle legislation, trade practices, and dealership policies.
• Manage customer service interactions and oversee the sales process.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar F&I role within automotive retail.
• Grade 12 / Matric with a relevant diploma; Credit Management Diploma advantageous.
• Regulatory exam passed, NCA accreditation, and retail or short‑term insurance qualification (minimum 120 credits).
• Possession of required Continuous Professional Development points within the stipulated timeframe.

Required skills

• Knowledge of NCA, CRA, FAIS and FICA regulations.
• Accredited by the Financial Services Provider (FSP) and authorised to perform NCA functions.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of vehicle legislation and dealership procedures.
