Facilitator (HRD) Engineering

About the role

The Facilitator (HRD) Engineering will support the Business Partner (HRD) Engineering by delivering high‑quality theoretical and practical training within a mining environment. This role ensures compliance with HSEC standards and the implementation of company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Business Partner (HRD) Engineering and manage all functions related to the facilitator position.
• Conduct facilitation and assessment activities, guaranteeing high‑quality training delivery at the training centre.
• Maintain compliance with the company’s HSEC system.
• Implement management decisions, legal requirements, and company standards/policies.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Computer literacy.
• ENG native courses (Aid Certificate/N qualification) – advantage.
• Training and coaching experience – advantage.
• Competent B – advantage.
• Relevant formal training qualification (Assessor, Facilitator or Train‑the‑Trainer certificate).
• Minimum three (3) years of engineering experience.
• Previous facilitator experience in a mining environment.
• Ability to conduct planned task observations and follow‑ups.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Proficient written English.
