Events, Conferencing & Guest Experience Manager

About the role

Join Jozini Tiger Lodge & Spa, a 4‑star lakeside retreat on the Elephant Coast, as the Events, Conferencing & Guest Experience Manager. You will lead all event‑related operations, driving revenue and delivering memorable experiences for guests of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute corporate events, weddings, conferences and other functions.
• Engage with clients to capture requirements, budgets and objectives, then produce detailed proposals, timelines and run‑sheets.
• Oversee event set‑up, execution and breakdown, ensuring seamless delivery and adherence to brand standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance and food‑and‑beverage teams to guarantee smooth service flow.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all event and conferencing clients, building strong relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Conduct site inspections and presentations for prospective clients.
• Handle client queries, feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Manage daily operations of conference and event facilities, ensuring compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Matric Certificate (minimum).
• Hospitality or Events Management qualification (advantageous).
• At least 5 years of experience in hospitality with exposure to conferencing, banqueting, weddings and event coordination.
• Proven track record in revenue generation and event sales.
