Events and Marketing Specialist (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position is based in Centurion and supports a globally respected professional body. You will work closely with internal teams, external agencies and a wide range of stakeholders to deliver high‑impact events and marketing initiatives across Southern Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end planning, execution and post‑event evaluation for large‑scale events.
• Coordinate venue selection, supplier liaison, branding, registration, catering and on‑site logistics.
• Manage event budgets, track expenditures and ensure cost‑effective delivery.
• Maintain marketing content calendars and drive social‑media activity to increase brand visibility.
• Collaborate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Support volunteer networks and foster relationships with sponsors, community groups and professional members.
