Engineering Technician - Painter

About the role

Radisson Collection Hotel Waterfront in Cape Town is looking for an Engineering Technician (Painter) to join its property maintenance team. The role supports the smooth running of the maintenance department so that painting and finishing work meets high standards, and helps guests feel comfortable and satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Support the property maintenance department so that all painting and finishing work is kept to the highest standard.
• Respond proactively to painting and maintenance requests, delivering a positive and timely response.
• Complete planned and reactive painting tasks in guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house areas.
• Keep surfaces, finishes and decor well maintained and visually appealing.
• Use materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
• Assist with planned preventative maintenance related to painting and general upkeep.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property maintenance with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Tertiary qualification in maintenance would be beneficial.
