Electrician – Maintenance for Mining Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our engineering team and ensure the reliable operation of mining equipment and machinery. You will work on‑site in a high‑performance environment, supporting the safe and cost‑effective maintenance of our assets.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all health and safety practices and requirements.
• Maintain, test and inspect electrical equipment and machinery to guarantee functionality, safety and availability.
• Identify defects or failures, report them to the Supervisor and raise repair notifications.
• Execute work according to operating model standards, complete job cards on time and keep toolboxes clean.
• Communicate hand‑overs between shifts and support day‑shift teams.
• Monitor maintenance progress, ensure installations and commissioning meet specifications, and minimise downtime.
• Provide proactive maintenance advice and coordinate resources needed to complete tasks.

• Good communication skills for interaction with supervisors and colleagues.
