About the role
Solid Logistics is hiring a Driver / Truck Assistant in Johannesburg. The role covers operating vehicles, inspecting them before and after trips, transporting goods and keeping accurate records.
Key responsibilities
- Operate vehicles with a Code 8 and 10 licence safely
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Transport goods to designated locations
- Ensure goods are loaded, secured and offloaded correctly
- Complete required documentation accurately
- Report vehicle defects and incidents promptly
- Maintain accurate records and keep the vehicle clean
- Adhere to company policies and safety regulations
- Assist with loading and offloading when necessary
