Supervisor Driver

About the role

Ethekwini Metro is recruiting a Supervisor Driver (grade 07, reference 34011530 / 34010214 / VARIOUS) to carry out driving duties and on-site operational tasks related to water and material logistics. The basic annual salary ranges from R 243,479.01 to R 316,060.58.

Key responsibilities

• Drive water tankers and deliver water.
• Transport small plant and materials to and from sites.
• Attend to on-site operations for back-filling.
• Attend to on-site operations for spoil removal.

Required profile

• Grade 10 or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Physically fit and prepared to work shifts.
• Valid motor vehicle driving licence (Code EC).
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
• Valid certification of competency in operating truck-mounted cranes, or obtainable within six months of appointment.
