Desktop Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Cape Town. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will ensure that end‑users experience reliable and efficient desktop services, contributing to smooth daily business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop computers, printers, and related hardware.
• Perform computer repairs, hardware replacements, and software troubleshooting.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
• Assist in maintaining overall IT functionality, including routine maintenance and updates.
• Collaborate with team members to support the broader IT infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proficient in desktop computer setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience delivering technical support and resolving issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of printer installation, maintenance, and support.
• Skilled in diagnosing hardware and software problems.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site and collaborate with colleagues.
• IT‑related certification or diploma is a plus.
