Dental Assistant – Grabouw, Western Cape

About the role

Mint Dental is looking for a reliable Dental Assistant to support clinical procedures, uphold strict infection‑control standards, and help with administrative tasks in a fast‑moving practice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide chair‑side assistance during dental treatments.
• Clean, sterilise and organise dental instruments and clinical areas.
• Manage stock control and order dental materials and consumables.
• Assist with patient estimates, referrals and treatment coordination.
• Support appointment scheduling and other administrative duties.
• Offer front‑desk support when needed.

Required profile

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Dental Assistant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
• Team‑oriented, patient‑centred attitude and commitment to ethical care.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from R8,000 to R10,000 per month, based on experience.
• Full‑time schedule: Mon‑Thu 08:00‑17:00, Fri‑Sat 08:00‑13:00.
