Debtor's and Creditor's Clerk

About the role

Our client, a well‑established organisation in the finance sector, needs immediate support for a fixed‑term contract of up to three months. As a Debtors and Creditors Clerk you will manage large debtor and creditor portfolios, process high‑volume invoices and payments, and ensure accurate reconciliations in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end debtors and creditors processes.
• Process high volumes of invoices, payments and account allocations accurately and timely.
• Reconcile supplier statements, customer accounts and ledger balances.
• Follow up on outstanding debtors and resolve account queries.
• Maintain large‑value debtor and creditor books.
• Assist with month‑end reporting and finance administration.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12); finance qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Debtors and Creditors Clerk.
• Proven experience managing large‑value debtor and creditor books.
• Experience processing high volumes of invoices and transactions.
• Exposure to multiple industries such as manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, distribution, retail or services.
• Available immediately or on short notice.

Required skills

• Strong ERP systems experience (SAP, Sage, Syspro, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards or similar).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

What we offer

• Monthly remuneration between R 20 000 and R 25 000.
