About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our embedded security team in Johannesburg. The role focuses on both offensive and defensive security activities across enterprise applications and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Perform penetration testing, ethical hacking and red‑team exercises to identify security weaknesses.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and drive remediation efforts.
- Assess and harden application and infrastructure security controls.
- Review code for secure coding practices and support developers in implementing security fixes.
- Identify, analyse and mitigate security risks in a fast‑paced environment.
Required profile
- Proven hands‑on experience in attack simulation and vulnerability discovery.
- Strong background in supporting remediation activities across enterprise environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
