About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Manager to lead the protection of information assets for a BPO/Contact Centre operating in Cape Town. The role involves shaping the security posture, responding to incidents and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage security incidents, coordinate response actions and conduct post‑incident analysis.
- Perform regular security assessments, audits and vulnerability testing.
- Monitor emerging threats, analyse security data and recommend mitigation measures.
Required profile
- Proven background in Information Technology with a focus on cybersecurity.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001) and prior experience in a similar managerial role.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Required skills
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
