Enterprise Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design and delivery of resilient integration solutions for a global investment advisory firm. The role bridges strategic business objectives with practical, scalable technical designs, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of automation, AI, and modern cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the architectural SME for an embedded business domain, translating strategy into executable solution designs.
• Design integration patterns focused on APIs, event‑driven architectures, and cloud middleware.
• Convert enterprise guardrails into delivery models that balance speed with long‑term architectural health.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Security, and Data teams to produce clear technical designs from functional requirements.
• Shape data migration, security, and governance strategies to meet auditability, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Support delivery teams through design, build, test, and deployment phases, mitigating architectural risks.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems) is advantageous.
• 7+ years of experience designing enterprise‑scale solutions in complex IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of modern enterprise integration patterns and cloud architectures.
• Experience in highly regulated financial or investment sectors, with understanding of security, risk, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders, coach delivery teams, and navigate complex technical landscapes.
