Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Service Representative provides courteous, prompt, and professional administration services to both external customers and internal departments. This role ensures that orders, amendments, and communications are accurately processed through the business system while supporting sales and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate schedules and order dates to external sales teams and customers.
• Raise customer orders in the business system, process repeat orders, and manage artwork amendments.
• Collaborate with Estimating and Sales to confirm pricing, enter data, and generate invoices.
• Handle order amendment requests, coordinate with production and purchasing, and notify senior management of any sales projection changes.
• Prepare concession forms for customer trials, ensuring a purchase order or approved concession is in place.
• Forward documentation to the Technical Services Representative and act as a liaison between operations, sales, and customers.
• Monitor daily production schedules, advise customers on deliveries, and work with the Production Planner to meet label production timelines.
• Manage stock levels for regular customers, adhering to min/max inventory programs.
• Issue accurate stock and production planning reports, deliver proofs, and upload PDFs to the business system.
• Provide day‑to‑day coverage across all customer accounts.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Diploma in Sales & Marketing.
• 2–5 years of sales administration or customer service experience.
• Strong adaptability, reliability, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• SAP (or similar ERP system).
• Radius business system.
• Microsoft Office suite.
