Key Account Manager – Food and Beverage

About the role

The Key Account Manager will be the primary contact for our food and beverage clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. You will manage a portfolio of accounts, grow existing business and identify new sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the divisional strategy to the assigned accounts.
• Integrate new employees, promote team spirit and ensure effective information exchange.
• Drive continuous standardisation and optimisation of processes, coordinating with the manager.
• Lead digital transformation projects, digitising business processes and maintaining data in internal systems.
• Monitor budget adherence and act on variances in coordination with the manager.
• Ensure compliance with legal and internal regulations.
• Manage customer projects, track samples, quotes and contract status, and intervene on‑site when required.
• Process complaints according to company standards.
• Conduct annual sales planning, forecast adjustments and implement sales initiatives.
• Provide consistent support to local customers and develop top accounts with intensified relationship management.
• Achieve sales, turnover and profit targets, proposing corrective measures as needed.

• Proven experience in key account management within the food and beverage sector.
