Country / Regional Manager – Financial Markets

About the role

This senior leadership position is responsible for driving commercial growth and market expansion across multiple international regions, including LATAM, Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. Based in South Africa and working fully remote, you will shape go‑to‑market strategies for the FX and CFD trading business while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business plans to increase revenue and profitability across assigned markets.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and standards.
• Maintain full compliance with local regulatory frameworks and nurture relationships with authorities.
• Lead, coach, and develop local teams to foster a high‑performance culture.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to implement client acquisition initiatives.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field (MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in sales and business development within the FX/CFD or broader financial trading industry.
• At least 3 years in a senior management or leadership role with operational responsibility.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, regulatory environments and regional dynamics.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, sales leadership and operational management.

• Proficiency with CRM systems and data‑driven decision‑making tools.
