Control and Automation Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Control and Automation Technician to join our industrial team. The successful candidate will ensure reliable operation of automation equipment, support upgrades, and maintain compliance with engineering and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VSDs, and associated instrumentation.
• Calibrate and configure field instrumentation and sensors to guarantee accurate measurements.
• Apply knowledge of industrial control protocols such as Profibus, Ethernet/IP, and Modbus.
• Perform system backups, maintain documentation, and manage change control for automation assets.
• Support plant automation upgrade projects and assist in their implementation.
• Ensure all activities comply with engineering, health, safety, environment and quality (SHEQ) standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve control and automation issues.

Required profile

• Technical background in industrial automation or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with PLC programming and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
