Concrete Foreman – Civil Works

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead concrete works on civil construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring high‑quality waterproofing and concrete finishing while managing a team of labourers on site.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all activities related to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing and curing.
• Resolve issues that could affect project quality or timelines.
• Interpret drawings and plans to guarantee accurate placement of concrete structures.
• Delegate tasks to concrete labourers and provide guidance throughout the process.
• Inspect concrete after formwork removal, identify defects and direct corrective actions.

Required profile

• Physically fit for heavy manual work.
• 4‑5 years of experience in waterproofing and concrete finishing.
• Proven experience managing construction teams on pipelines, earthworks, roads and concrete works.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, specifically SANS 1200 standards.
• Ability to manage resources efficiently; reservoir construction experience is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to work away from home when required.

What we offer

• Annual total compensation ranging from R450 000 to R600 000.
