Clinical Information Pharmacist – Researcher & Trainer (6‑month contract)

About the role

This 6‑month contract position is based in Durban and focuses on creating, updating and delivering specialised pharmaceutical product information. The role combines research, content development and training for internal sales and product consultant teams.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and update specialised pharma product information from online databases, journals and publications.
• Create web‑based, printed and digital articles that promote the client’s specialised products.
• Support clinical research activities and assist with clinical dossier modules where required.
• Review product information leaflets (PI/PIL) and contribute to pharmacovigilance activities.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on clinical aspects, pharmacovigilance and information services to sales and other staff.

Required profile

• B.Pharm degree is mandatory.
• Experience in clinical research or clinical dossier preparation is advantageous.
• Familiarity with PI/PIL review and pharmacovigilance processes is a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly to non‑technical audiences.

What we offer

• Contract rate of approximately R70,000 per month (tax deducted, no additional benefits).
