Claims Administrator – Short-Term Insurance

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Claims Administrator to manage the administrative side of short‑term insurance claims. The role involves coordinating payments, handling third‑party and recovery claims, and processing windscreen claims while maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Request and follow up on payments to external service providers.
• Process all recovery and third‑party claims through the appointed external service provider.
• Handle and process windscreen claims.
• Maintain accurate claims records and documentation.
• Liaise with service providers, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth claim processing.
• Manage a high volume of email correspondence efficiently.
• Assist with general claims administration tasks as required.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Full FAIS credits and RE5 qualification (essential).
• Minimum 5 + years experience in short‑term insurance claims administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with claims management systems is advantageous.
