Senior Manager – Transfer Pricing

About the role

As Senior Manager – Transfer Pricing you will support transfer pricing compliance, advisory and strategic needs for MTN Group and its operating companies across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Act as custodian of the Group Transfer Pricing strategy, mandates and policies.
• Advise, guide and support transfer pricing requirements to drive compliance optimisation and risk mitigation.
• Provide transfer pricing advisory services, including deal advisory and specialist tax partnering.

Required profile

• Education: H. Dip Tax or equivalent, CA (SA), CIMA, B. Proc, BA LLB or equivalent; articles from a top‑5 audit or law firm.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in transfer pricing, including at least 5 years at a management level, strong knowledge of OECD and BEPS guidelines, and experience handling tax audits and disputes.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling for analysis, forecasting and benchmarking.
• Preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation such as master files, local files and Country‑by‑Country Reporting.
• In‑depth understanding of international tax laws and transfer pricing guidelines (OECD, BEPS).
• Ability to manage transfer pricing audits and dispute resolution.
