Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) – Commercial & Entrepreneurial Role

About the role

RPE NextGen, an international fintech firm based in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg, is seeking commercially‑minded Chartered Accountants (CA(SA)) with an entrepreneurial flair. This is a senior‑level, full‑time position that goes beyond traditional accounting or audit work, offering exposure to strategic, operational and client‑facing responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational and project management support across multiple initiatives.
• Contribute to strategic planning, sales strategy development and international market research.
• Engage with senior executives and clients at an executive level, both locally and internationally.
• Support commercial decision‑making and act as a strategic advisor to business units.

Required profile

• CA(SA) qualification – passed both board exams on the first attempt.
• Minimum 2 years post‑articles experience.
• Matriculation with at least 60% (HG Maths required).
• Possession of Matric Certificate, tertiary education certificates, transcripts and SAICA membership certificate.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
