Channel Development Manager

About the role

Cohesity, a leader in AI-powered data security, is looking for a Channel Development Manager to manage and enable its Channel Partners in the Cohesity Partner Ecosystem. You will build and run account and partner plans, grow the pipeline and manage conversions, driving bookings and growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to drive bookings and ensure a great customer experience.
• Identify, recruit and develop new partners to expand sales and service capabilities.
• Forecast partner pipeline conversion with the sales teams.
• Develop and lead a sales strategy and business plan for assigned partner/distribution accounts.
• Enable partner sales and technical teams in line with the GTM plan and partner programs.
• Track partner performance against plan and set action plans for enablement, engagement, pipeline and bookings gaps.
• Develop selling and services opportunities with partner organizations, penetrating new divisions.
• Coordinate marketing activities and use Cohesity's marketing resources to define prioritization, execution and ROI.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven channel management experience with a strong track record of quota achievement.
• Extensive experience growing top distribution managed partners through distributors.
• Experience coordinating marketing activities with diverse teams and optimizing partner investment returns.
• Experience working with customers and technology partners.
• Excellent presentation skills, able to present technical and business material to small and large groups.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to travel more than 50%.
