About the role
Sentraal-Suid Co-operative (SSK) is looking for a customer-focused, accurate Cashier for its Agriland store in Aberdeen, Eastern Cape. The role involves recording sales on the POS system, handling cash and card payments, giving friendly service and helping with store administration. No minimum experience is required.
Key responsibilities
- Record sales accurately on the POS system
- Handle cash, card and other approved payment methods
- Do general admin tasks for the till and store
- Provide friendly, prompt customer service
Required profile
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Able to work accurately under pressure
- Retail or cashier experience is an advantage, not a requirement
Required skills
- Strong numerical and basic maths skills
- Computer literacy
