About the role

The Care Worker will be based in the Emergency Centre of Mediclinic, supporting the nursing team to ensure safe, high‑quality care for patients. This position plays a vital part in delivering a positive patient experience and maintaining efficient unit operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support and assist nursing unit staff in delivering quality patient care.
• Identify and report risks in line with hospital policies.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by assisting nursing staff.
• Provide administrative support as specified.
• Ensure efficient stock utilisation and accurate charging.

Required profile

• Appropriate qualification as a Care Worker (essential).
• Grade 12 (desired).
• Experience in a healthcare environment (essential).
