Camp Manager & Field Guide (Couple) – Luxury Lodge

About the role

Wild Dreams Hospitality is seeking a dedicated couple to fill the dual positions of Camp Manager and Field Guide at its luxury lodge in the Mluwati Concession of Kruger National Park. The Camp Manager will oversee daily operations, while the Field Guide will lead immersive wildlife experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Camp Manager: operational management, guest experience oversight, staff leadership, financial control, compliance, health & safety, reporting and continuous improvement.
• Field Guide: conduct game drives and bush walks, share detailed knowledge of wildlife, birds, plants and local culture, host guests during meals and drinks, maintain vehicles and equipment, ensure adherence to SANParks rules and game‑driving protocols, and provide emergency response when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in camp or lodge management (for Manager) and 3 years Big‑5 guiding experience (for Guide).
• Strong leadership, communication and crisis‑management abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence, off‑road driving proficiency and first‑aid certification.
• Relevant South African licences: Guide’s Licence with PDP FGASA NQF 4, DEAT registration.
• Passion for flora, fauna, cultural engagement and ability to work independently under pressure.
