About the role

Abinbev is hiring a BDR 1 at its Sab Baragwanath Depot. The role is responsible for growing volumes sold, market share and competitiveness by delivering market-driven, differentiated service in clearly defined segments.

Key responsibilities

Achieve sales targets for assigned areas
Manage and supervise distributors in the assigned sector, including orders, payments and re-distribution
Ensure IB products are reasonably stocked in customers' and retailers' outlets
Ensure brand visibility on POS and chillers, and that chillers are placed correctly and used only for IBPLC products
Monitor recommended prices at sales outlets and watch competitors closely

Required profile

3-year degree qualification
At least 2 years' experience in a sales, marketing or FMCG environment
Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver's licence
Local area knowledge is required

Required skills

Basic computer literacy and Microsoft Office experience
Administration, relationship management, customer service and negotiation skills
Problem solving and attention to detail
