Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for a client in the plastic and manufacturing sectors, focusing on B2B sales across pharmaceutical, transport, mining and related industries.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand market presence.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Develop strategic partnerships and promote company products and services.
• Achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Apply market knowledge and strategic insights to client engagements.

Required profile

• BCom, BSc or BA in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Commerce or a related field.
• 7‑10 years proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive or Account Manager, preferably in the plastic industry.
• Valid driver’s licence, own car and willingness to travel.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and eager to grow within a sales environment.

Required skills

What we offer

• CTC of R45 000 to R55 000 per month, plus commission (depending on experience and qualifications).
