Business Development Manager – Cargo Security

About the role

Ekhwesi Business Solutions is a leader in cargo security, providing protection, tracking and guarding services for high‑risk cargo. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new product and service sales, build a strong pipeline, and grow our client base in the cargo industry.

Key responsibilities

• Present new products and services to prospective and existing clients.
• Identify and prospect new cargo‑industry clients through cold calling, referrals and personal networks.
• Research decision‑makers, arrange meetings, and deliver tailored proposals.
• Handle objections, negotiate terms, and close deals while maintaining a positive brand image.
• Plan and execute sales pitches aligned with client objectives.
• Build and sustain long‑term professional relationships to ensure repeat business.
• Collaborate with technical and internal teams to meet customer needs.
• Attend industry events and conferences to gather market insights.
• Provide regular updates in the CRM system and weekly sales reports.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of solution‑selling experience in a B2B environment.
• Preferable experience in transport, cargo or security services.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is advantageous.
• Own vehicle required for client visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for daily updates and reporting.
