About the role

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our construction team in Benoni, Gauteng. The successful candidate will work on a variety of building projects, ensuring high‑quality brickwork that meets detailed plans and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Laying bricks accurately according to detailed plans and specifications.
• Sealing foundations with damp‑resistant materials.
• Using spirit levels and plumb lines to verify building alignment.
• Operating hand tools, power tools and brick‑cutting machines.
• Constructing arches and ornamental brickwork.
• Repairing and maintaining existing building blocks.
• Measuring work areas and setting out the first rows of bricks and damp courses.
• Working outdoors on construction sites in all weather conditions and at height.

Required profile

• Ability to work accurately from detailed plans and specifications.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labour outdoors and at height.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
